I also had my first DNF of the year, Nightwatching by Tracy Sierra. I got 66 pages in before I gave up. I'd call it slow, ponderous, and pretentious.

My goal for 2025 is again 150 books.

This year at Goodreads I signed up for Around the Year in 52 Books challenge. I think this is my 4th year doing this challenge. The prompts are chosen and voted on at the end of the previous year. I like that there's a pretty wide range of prompts.

I finished off my year in reading by meeting my goal to read 150 books! That came to a total of 48,529 pages, and my average rating was 3.9. I always think I rate too high. LOL
